Before attempting any of the nutritional, weight training or supplementation guidelines you must get a doctor?s approval first! You should have a complete physical examination, especially if you have been living a primarily sedentary lifestyle. You also need to check with your doctor if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or if you are over the age of 30.Have you had any physical injuries recently or in the past might be affected by an intense workout program?
Some people find this difficult to accept but in most cases, the reason that they are overweight is that they eat more calories than they are consuming through exercise. The first place to start therefore is to have a good hard look at what you eat and drink. You must be in the right frame of mind to lose weight; unless you are motivated and minded to lose weight, it will not happen.
It is about eating the right food groups in the right amount and at the right time. When you get this combination correct you will cause your metabolism to become a fat burning furnace or apparatus. Instead of your body becoming or getting use to what you are eating and at what time, you are shifting things around. Therefore I would it is a good way to eat the right food groups you enjoy eating , but lose the weight you want to get rid of.
Many people who are overweight want to lose weight so that they can look their best which is a sensible reason to make an effort to get your body shape under control. There are medical reasons though, why it is desirable to get your weight under control because of the risk of heart disease, stroke, type II diabetes, high blood pressure and types of cancer that are associated with being overweight. It is in our best interests to keep the weight off by following a healthy eating habit and exercise program if we want to be healthier and live longer.
