The New Macbook Air Vs MacbookPro
So, you are probably looking at getting a new Macbook, which is a very exciting time as you will no longer experience all of those common problems that PC users go through everyday. No more constant Windows shutdowns, hidden viruses or missing dll files. But how do you know which Macbook to get? Well there are a few options to choose from, but first you have to decide what your main use will be, your budget and what features you want.
Finding out what you want to use your new Macbook for is not a difficult task as they are a very universal computer. It more so comes down to your budget as you may require more power to play high graphic games, or a stronger processor to multitask various media apps. So which one is the best for you?
If you are looking at both the Macbook Air and MacbookPro, it is a good idea to make a firm decision on which one you really need, not want.
Some main elements of the Macbook Air is its ultralight design, currently being the worlds thinnest notebook and is really considered a great travel companion. Its aluminum design really helps set it apart from others, as it truly looks like something from the future. It comes in various models and really does have some great processing power. But on the other hand, there is the MacbookPro which comes in various models which can just about handle anything in terms of its power, processing, resolution and graphics.
So when putting the two up against each other, you really have to decide what it is that you want in a laptop computer. I often ask people the question when buying a Macbook Air, is the size really worth it. I mean, after all, the Macbook Pro, or any other laptop computer is not really that heavy and bulky in the first place. I also know that there have been no major problems with the size of the Macbook Air in terms of hardware failure, but you are limited with hardware accessories in terms of ports, optical drive etc. The internals are also unable to be upgraded, and has no switchable battery. And to top it all off, they use a 1.8 inch hard drive, which are similar to the ones found in the 80GB iPod Classics, and are therefore slower.
With the MacbookPro, you are getting a powerful laptop, which will leave any PC which crosses its tracks for dead. Its power, speed and graphics have to be experienced to be believed. I know I am mentioning it as the preferred choice to make but unfortunately the only cons that it comes with is that it is not as small as the MacbookAir.
It all comes down to a simple choice, looks vs performance and features.
I guess that all that I can leave you with is your own personal choice. To find out more about the Macbook Pro, the Macbook Air, or Any other Apple Products available, simply visit iPoduPhone for the latest they have to offer.
