Tips On Siberian Husky Puppies

by Andrew Preston

So you are considering Siberian Husky puppies but you are not too sure what to expect if you were to get one. The Siberian Husky is the least mysterious of the dog breeds and many of the issues you may come across with a Husky are common dog problems that can easily be fixed with the proper training and care.

You should always take the advice given to you by qualified people and seek out advice when you run into problems. You are not alone in your raising of a Siberian Husky puppy so use the resources around you.

It does not take long to realize that Siberian Husky puppies are little balls of aggressive energy that love to play and will keep playing until someone gets hurt in some cases. They just do not know when to stop the rough housing and that is why many breeders will tell you that Siberian Husky puppies are not great dogs to have around small children. If you have small children and you are considering a Siberian Husky puppy you may want to keep this in mind.

Young puppies sometimes just do not know when to stop and small children can get hurt. So you may want to consider that if you have small children and you want a Siberian Husky puppy.

Siberian Husky puppies were bred to survive the winters of Siberia so their coat is very thick and they shed a great deal. You do not need to cut their coat or trim it at all but you do need to comb and brush their coat frequently. They enjoy the occasional bath as well but make sure you use dog shampoo and not human shampoo as there is a huge difference especially to Siberian Husky fur and skin.

Siberian Husky puppies will want to eat constantly but it is extremely bad to feed them more than maybe once a day and even then you should not leave left over food sitting around for them. Even though they are growing dogs you still need to monitor their diet and keep track of how much they eat so they do not develop bad eating habits and become more difficult to control later in their life.

The Siberian Husky puppy is a very active pup that turns into a very wonderful pet that requires a lot of very specific kind of care and attention.

If you have never owned a dog before then you may want to consider a breed other than the Siberian Husky as your first dog. They are a handful and they are a handful all of their lives.
